Biography

I was brought up in Upstate New York in the Mohawk Valley, where the landscapes are breathtakingly beautiful. In my late 30s life took me to Texas (out in the middle of nowhere!). At first, it was fine. I met my husband, loved my job and the community and life was good. But after a while, my eyes and heart longed to see beautiful landscapes, rolling plush green hills, mountains, lakes, forests, and most of all the gorgeous changing colors of Autumn.

In 1999, I decided if I couldn't see beautiful landscapes, I was going to create them for me to see. That was the start of my artistic journey.
