I am a prolific painter of whimsical Folk Art, also known as Naive art, Primitive art, Outsider art (but definitely not Brut; I'm far too gentle for that), and sometimes it's even considered impressionist. It's a very muddy area for most people who paint in this Genre (I so enjoyed finding a place for that word), as even the experts haven't resolved it. I leave you, the visitor, to decide.  Perhaps you will let me know.   

The sample images here range from City Folk (yet another description to consider), through fairly serious impressionist landscapes, to fine, good old down-home, Americana/Canadiana- style country folk paintings.  Along the way you will meet Gran, who cannot be clearly classified. We'll call her "Illustration".
