Dorothy is a fine artist of landscapes and animals. She paints on canvas, tile and tables and mainly works with oil and water colors. Dorothy is president of the Pahrump Visual and Performing Arts Council. Through the council she has been active in helping to start a youth program in her community by giving art lessons to the children of her community in her studio. This summer I had the opportunity to paint with Gary and Kathwren Jenkins in their home for a weeks workshop. I am now in the process of becoming a Certified Artist under the direction of Robert Warren and his amazing technique. I have found no other artist with the glow to his work that Robert has mastered. I am looking forword to the day that I can teach his technique to my students.
