Biography
A native South Carolinian, now residing in Augusta, Georgia, Caroline has been producing works of art since 1984. A professional fine art painter, she uses light for inspiration to create representational paintings. She has received the Medal of Honor from the American Artists Professional League, is a Fellow in the organization and is a full artist member of the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club both organizations based in New York, NY. She is a member of the Watercolor USA Honor Society and has also been selected for inclusion in Who's Who In American Art.
Caroline's watercolors have been written about by Nancy Wellard, writer for the Island Packet, Hilton Head Island, SC. She writes: "The current exhibit at the Hilton Head Art League Gallery overflows with lush color and oozes rich Southern visual tradition. These recent watercolors charm, intrigue and delight because of the images she portrays, and the immediacy we sense in the style of her portrayal."
