Biography
Growing up the daughter of a gifted and successful artist, it seems only natural that Jenifer would become an artist herself. Born with innate creativity and a vibrant imagination, many of her happiest childhood memories involve quietly working on a creative project, be it a piece of pottery or a watercolor painting.Jenifer was born in Atlanta and spent most of her early life there. She received her BA from College of Charleston where she took as many drawing and art history classes as her schedule would allow. After college, she continued expanding her knowledge of art through various drawing and oil painting classes led by experienced local artists. As her love of expression through art continued to grow, she attended workshops all over the Southeast. She currently works in oils and combines her love of painting en plein air with studio work. She finds much of her inspiration from past and recent travel experiences throughout the United States and Europe, but is equally inspired by working to convey the simple beauty of a still-life.
Jenifer is currently showing her work at several galleries including dk Gallery in Marietta, The Nicholson Gallery and the Swan Coach House in Atlanta.
