A passion for horses, a quest for closeness, has been a life-long goal for Diana Gann, a contemporary artist in the Cincinnati community. The arts were the vehicle through which Gann relates the spiritual nature of the horse. Painting is her driving force and passion, bringing her in touch with these great animals.

Gann is known as a contemporary and a colorist. Her works show playfulness with her use of novel color. Bold shapes and vigorous brushstroke give character to her equine subjects. Her paintings are dynamic and fun while staying true to the nature of the horse.
