Biography

I was born October 15th, 1980 in Bremerton, Washington and was raised one town over in Silverdale.

As a child I was very quiet, and was often found drawing, painting, or giving the cat an obviously much-needed haircut. My mother has said that I began to draw recognizable objects by eight months old. Frankly, I'm not sure how I still have both of my eyes. My mom openly admits that her stick figures are terrible, and she's convinced I just "followed her home from the hospital."

I did well in school, but was always told that I should spend more time on my assignment, rather than the drawings that I would include on them. I was known as the "artist kid" throughout junior high and high school and was voted "Most Artistic," which of course translated roughly in teenager language, means "nerd."

I currently reside in Keyport, Washington where I make my living as a tattoo artist. Now, those who used to call me "nerd," pay me to permanently (and painfully) add art to their body. I love the irony.

As far as being a nerd, things never change.
